Martín Churba (1970, Buenos Aires)
Martín Churba is an artist and designer based in Buenos Aires, recognized for his extraordinary textile techniques and commitment to collaborative work with social organizations. He currently researches discarded materials and creates new futuristic and expressionist textiles, applying his knowledge to different surfaces. His work challenges conventions and opens paths toward a renewed dialogue between art and textiles. Together with Fidela Flores and Candelaria Aaset, he ventures to build a conversation through contemporary textiles as an intercultural framework.
